The Regulation Doublet pre-dates the Prince Charlie style of jacket, the major difference being the Inverness Flaps. Enjoying something of a renaissance in recent years, the Regulation Doublet has the double benefit of looking smarter and more formal than a Prince Charlie or Argyll. So stand out from the crowd with this classic kilt jacket. 

The Regulation Doublet Jacket is a higher cut than an Argyll jacket and is completed with a 3 button evening waistcoat. 

Features:
  • 100% 19oz Barathea Wool
  • Fine lining made to match the fabric, or in a black thistle jacquard. If you have anything more specific in mind, leave us a note.
  • Choice of epaulette styles
  • Variety of button options
  • Matching three button waistcoat
To compliment this jacket we suggest wearing a bow tie with a wing collar shirt, dress sporran and 8 yard kilt.

This item is made to order in our own tailoring workshop in Glasgow. Lead time is indicated in the drop-down menu.
